At Forte, learning music is FUN!
Forte School of Music Macarthur is the number one provider of high quality music education in the Macarthur region and provides an innovative and unique approach to teaching music. We aim to foster a love of music while developing musicianship skills through self-confidence in young musicians.
The Forte method of teaching utilises techniques that allow children to be taught in small groups; each child has a keyboard so that in addition to playing alone, the children learn to play together as if they were a band.
Children at Forte School of Music learn keyboard skills, but also other foundation music skills that prepared them for playing in school bands and orchestras. The music they learn is funky and modern, but the students still master the skills to enable them to work through a traditional exam syllabus.
Forte School of Music Macarthur has many talented music teachers who specialise in each of the Forte courses and/or other wind and string instruments and voice. Music lessons are available for all ages ranging from 6 months to Adult.
Our Early childhood teachers are specially trained in Jungle Music, a delightful course for 6 month to 3 ½ year olds, and Music Is Fun, an introductory keyboard course for 3 ½ to 5 year olds. All of our Early childhood and Keyboard teachers undertake extensive training to enable them to teach the specially designed Forte courses, for students 6months of age to adult.
Our school also offers private tuition in instruments such as Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Violin, Guitar, Brass and Voice.
Forte Macarthur is situated in a conveniently located , specialised facility in Narellan, which offers a friendly atmosphere and supportive environment for your child to learn and develop their music skills
