Important Information Regarding Accounts

Accounts are due in advance and will be handed out during the first lesson of the Term. Fees may be paid by cash, cheque, eftpos or direct deposit. Please note that any bank fees from dishonored cheques will be added to your fees.

Fees are due by the Saturday at the end of Week 3. An administration charge of $10 will be added to all invoices and will be waived if fees are paid by the due date.

Reminders are sent out in week 5 and a final notice will be sent in week 7, with a $20 late fee added to the account. If an account is left unpaid by the close of the term, your position in the class or with a private teacher in the following term will not be guaranteed.

Make Up Policy

Please let us know if you are going to miss a lesson and we can organise the following:

Class Students:

Jungle Music: An alterative class time can be arranged.

Other Classes or Shared Private lessons: We will send the Home Practice Plan so you know what to practice for next lesson. Should there be another class during the week at a similar stage of the course, you may attend this class if numbers permit.

Private Lessons

School Policy is that there are no refunds or credits for lessons missed, however timetable permitting a make up lesson may be organised in case of absence.

• no more than 2 occasions per term
• only applies if notification of absence is received 1 hour prior to lesson time.
• it is the parent/student’s responsibility to follow up and organise lesson with student support team
• these lessons may be scheduled during holidays

In the event that no suitable alternative time can be scheduled, the no refund or credits policy will apply for lessons not taken during the term.

Cancellation Policy

• Enrolment is ongoing unless Forte Macarthur is notified, verbally or in writing with a minimum of 2 weeks notice.
• If notice of cancellation is not given, lessons will be charged for until cancellation is confirmed. A cancellation fee of equal to 2 weeks lessons, will then be added to this tuition fee.
